We are manufacturing high frequency transformers, which are smaller in size as compared to the low frequency transformer, provided they have the same power rating. Also, these are lighter in weight and they have fewer turns on primary as well as secondary. These also do not have a laminated iron, but these have a ferrite core which increases their performance. All the high frequency transformers are known for having high current windings. In line with this, they have a large number of smaller wires rather than one single large wire. This feature is helpful in reducing the skin effect that can cause problems at higher frequency.
